What is FTC?
A simple Google search will give you the following answer: "The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is designed for students in grades 7–12 to compete head to head, using a sports model. Teams are responsible for designing, building, and programming their robots in a 10-week build period to compete in an alliance format against other teams...", but we believe FTC is so much more than that. FTC is when you explore robotics and technology and use problem - solving skills to fix problems you may come across. It is about being part of a supportive community filled with science that lets you design, program, and build robots. You gain hands - on experience and enjoy the robotics world firsthand.

Why do we participate in FTC?
We participate in FTC to increase our use of technology and our understanding of engineering in our everyday lives. FTC to us is more than a competition it is a journey that we embark on. We along the way have made so many memories together and that is why we participate in FTC. To have fun but also learn along the way. Through FTC we've learned how to use blockly programming, fix programs, overcome difficulties, design robots, and more.
