Outreach 2017 - 2018The First Tech Challenge is more than robotics and engineering, it is about helping your community and inspiring them. As a team we took it upon ourselves to spread the message of FIRST and improve and help our community as we go. Throughout everything we do we always make sure to be ambassadors for First and share the joy of STEM with everyone.

Hurricane Harvey Relief and Helping the Homeless
Throughout it all we've always made sure to help out our community along the way. We raised over 1,000 dollars for Hurricane Harvey Relief funds throughout selling concessions at one of our scrimmages. We also helped feed families through our local homeless shelter. We made PB&J Sandwiches, Turkey Sandwiches, Fruit Salad, and Baked Potatoes. It was worth all the hard work knowing that you have helped your community grow. Visit the Updates page to know more about updates on outreach.
ScrimmagesThis year we hosted an FLL and FTC Scrimmage where we reached out to help FLL Teams as well as FTC Teams. As we have done FLL for four years we were excited to share our expertise and help others!

MentoringWe've also mentored fellow FLL and FTC Teams. We have mentored 15 rookie FLL teams and 4 FTC teams to help prepare for competition. In the process we learned a lot as well.

World Robotics OlympiadWe have also organized The World Robotics Olympiad in the eastern region for the first time. This was an interesting experience and it was awesome to host the olympiad. It was great to see all the FLL Teams and FTC teams and to help them out.
